With GoFlex, you never drive a moving truck. We drop off a trailer, you load it, we drive it to your new home, and we pick it up when you're done unloading. Here's exactly what that looks like, from booking to the last box.
Before move day
Once you book, you'll get a confirmation by email with your move details and schedule. A couple of things to take care of before the big day:
- Sign your Bill of Lading: It's the agreement for your move, and we need it signed before we can confirm your schedule. You'll find the link in your confirmation.
- Download the Flex app: It's the easiest way to track your trailer, add hourly moving help, leave parking notes and manage your move.
Move day, hour by hour
Times below are a typical schedule for our GoFlex moves.
7–9 AM: We drop off your trailer
Your driver brings an empty moving trailer to your current home. You'll get a text when they're on the way, and if you have the app, you can track them live.
The trailer is 14 ft long with a 7 ft ceiling, which fits most homes up to about 950 sq ft. It has a rear ramp for rolling in furniture on dollies, plus a side door so you can reach the other side without climbing over boxes.
Morning: You load the trailer
Be sure you’ve got all of your items packed before we arrive. We have some pro tips for loading.
- Lighter items in the front and back: Surround the heavy load with lighter items so the weight stays centered.
- Heavy items in the middle: Center your heaviest pieces over the axles, low and balanced.
- Stack boxes from heaviest to lightest: Heavier on the bottom, lighter on top so nothing gets crushed.
If you added moving help, your Flex Pros arrive during this window too.
About an hour before your move window, we'll check in to see how loading is going.
1–3 PM: We move your trailer
Your driver comes back and drives the trailer to your new home. You don’t have to do any highway driving or backing up a giant rental truck.
Afternoon: You unload the trailer
You'll get a text once the trailer arrives at your new home. Take your time; it's yours until pickup.
About an hour before pickup, we'll send a reminder. Finished early? Text DONE or tap “I’m Unloaded & Ready For Pickup” in the app.
After 8 PM: We pick up the trailer
We come back for the empty trailer, and that's it. Kick your feet up and start enjoying your new home!
