Philly is a city of rowhomes and walk-ups, and that shapes every move. Stairwells tend to be steep and narrow with a turn at the landing, so your crew measures the doorways and the tightest turn first, then decides what goes up whole and what comes apart.
On most blocks, you can't count on open curb space, so a temporary no-parking permit from the Philadelphia Parking Authority is worth setting up ahead of time to reserve room for the trailer.

Many Rittenhouse, Old City, and Logan Square buildings require a reserved elevator and a certificate of insurance, so tell us your building's requirements when you book, and we'll plan around them.

Stairs add 10% more time per flight. Elevators add 15–30% more time depending on which floor you are on.
Long carries
If your entrance is more than 75 feet from the trailer it adds 15–20% more time to your overall move.

Disassembly & reassembly
Standard beds add at least 15 minutes to your move. More complex, custom furniture setup can take anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes.
